Chosen People Ministries (CPM) was founded in 1984 by a Hungarian Immigrant, Rabbi Leopold Cohn, after he came to faith in Yeshua in New York, U.S.A. Chosen People Ministries is an international cross-denominational organisation. It exists to pray for, evangelise, disciple, and serve Jewish people with the good news of Yeshua the Messiah, and to help fellow believers to do the same.
Rabbi Leopold Cohn dedicated his life to sharing the Good News to the Jewish people in New York based on the teaching of Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who trusts—to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” and with a great burden to see his people believing in Yeshua.
Today, under the leadership of Dr. Mitch Glaser, Chosen People Ministries continue to hold fast to the same vision of evangelising and discipling Jewish people worldwide, and upholding the Biblical promises that all Israel will be saved. Up to date, there are 18 branches around the world. Besides evangelism and making disciples of Yeshua, Chosen People Ministries also establishes Messianic Congregations and Messianic Centres to build the communities of Jewish believers.
From 2019, Pastor George Chan and his wife Yuki joined Chosen People Ministries Hong Kong (CPMHK) as the Israeli Backpacker Ministry partner and established “Beit Simcha Taiwan ” (House of Joy Hostel). Since then, they have been serving and sharing the love of Messiah with over 100 Israelis effectively. Seeing that the door of Jewish evangelism in Taiwan has been opened and the Church in Taiwan sincerely cares for Israel, so with the support of CPMHK, Chosen People Ministries Taiwan (CPMTW) was officially registered in August 2020, as the first branch office of Jewish mission organisation in Taiwan. Pastor George Chan has been appointed as executive director and Yuki as administrative secretary to mobilise the ministries of Jewish evangelism.

- Pray God uses Chosen People Ministries Taiwan mightily to share the vision of Jewish evangelism and train more workers in Taiwan. (Rom 1:16)
