🍞 Manna for Meditation 195

26 July, 2022

💎 “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” (Psm 27:4)

Praise God for His faithfulness and goodness. The Burning Bush Prayer & Mission Association in Taiwan is celebrating the third birthday tomorrow! As we continue to grow, Arise and Shine, it is crucial for us to give more quality time to team building. Therefore, after much consideration and prayer, the Manna for Meditation weekly devotionals will be finished up this week until we have enough manpower to resume this ministry later. As Manna for Meditation concludes, the Lord brings us to meditate on Psalm 27:4.

What satisfies you the most? If there is one thing that you could ask of the Lord, what would it be? The one thing that David asks from the Lord is intimacy with God! It is all about the relationship with Him. When we actively seek God, nothing compares to His presence and our deepest desires are always met by Him.

Holy desires will lead us to resolute actions and yield fruits – to dwell in the house of the Lord, to gaze upon His beauty, and to seek Him in His temple.  David’s three resolute actions are involved with communing with God constantly and intimately. Although the Manna for Meditation weekly devotionals will stop for a season, let us continue to run into the presence of God and walk with Him daily. His glory, His beauty and His abundance will manifest through our intimacy with Him. Amen!

Let us worship Him.  One Thing I Ask.

🙏 Dear Father, You are our hope, our strength, our song and our everything! Without You, we are nothing and we cannot do anything. May You draw us near to You every day to quench our thirst and fill us with Your Spirit. We need You more than ever and we long for a constant and intimate relation with You. Please use us to shine for your glory no matter where we are and what we do.  We love You dearly.  In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen!
