🍞 Manna for Meditation 170

1 February, 2022

💎 “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” (Jhn 14:13-14, TLV)

💎 “In that day, you will ask Me nothing. Amen, amen I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. Up to now, you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be full.” (Jhn 16:23-24, TLV)

Happy Chinese New Year to you and your family! Wish you a year full of God’s eternal grace and blessings!

2022 is our Year to Arise and Shine. In the last two weeks, we reviewed the first two cores of H2Z Prayer Movement (From Mountains of Heaven to Mount Zion) – We pray in unity and with love and we pray prophetically by the Spirit of God.  This week we will review the third one – we pray with authority in the Name of Yeshua

  1. We pray with authority.

In Matthew 28:18, Yeshua declares that He is authorized by God directly because all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. God authorized Yeshua, and He also commanded Yeshua to commission us. The authority is delegated to the Body of Messiah and shared with us, so we can go and produce fruit (Mat 28:19-20, Jhn 15:16).  When we pray, we pray with the authority given to us through Yeshua.

  1. We pray in the Name of Yeshua.

Buddhists pray, Muslims pray, Orthodox Jews pray, and Christians also pray. What is the difference between their prayers and ours? We, Christians, pray in the Name of Yeshua! God highly exalts Yeshua and gives Him the name that is above every name (Phl 2:9).  When we pray in the Name of Yeshua, we pray with His authority and power. We will receive what we ask for, and our joy will be a river overflowing its banks!

🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us such a privilege and honour to pray for your kingdom with authority in the Name of Yeshua! Please purify our hearts, and make us worthy of your entrustment and calling. Lead us not into temptations to misuse your authority or Yeshua’s Name. When our prayers are answered, always make us humble before You and never fall short of your glory. In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen!
