💎 “Therefore submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (Jas 4:7, TLV)
Every morning when we get up, there are so many discouraging things that may trouble our heart. It seems that we are trapped in an endless cycle of life challenges and cannot get out of a continuing unpleasant situation. It is hard enough to keep our heads above water, not to mention walking on water!
In John 16:33, Yeshua told us that we will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace when we trust Him. In this godless world, we will continue to experience difficulties. But we can take heart, because He has conquered the world.
Yes, Yeshua has conquered the world. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. (Mat 28:18) We are commissioned by Yeshua under God’s authority and command. In this vast and troubled world, we can rise up in our spiritual authority to resist the devil. Never succumb to self-pity, self-doubt, self-condemnation, despair, discouragement or defeat. Never allow the devil to fool us with lies, disillusion and deception.
James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” It doesn’t say, “Resist the devil and he might flee from you.” The truth is he WILL flee from you! We are not afraid of spiritual attacks, harassment or assaults. We can stand tall and high in the waves of things against us. Our assurance is in Yeshua alone, and the devil gets no say in our lives!
🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, please boost our courage as mighty warriors and increase our faith to rise up in our spiritual authority. In the name of Yeahua, we together bind the spirit of attacks, harassments and assaults. In the name of Yeshua, we together loose the spirit of hope, encouragement and life among us. Father, we ask You to dispatch the angels and heavenly hosts to fight in the heavens and on earth on our behalf. Help us engage in faith and rejoice in your victories. In the name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen!
