🍞 Manna for Meditation 155

19 October, 2021

💎 “Now the end of all things is near. So be self-controlled and sober-minded for prayer. Above all, keep your love for one another constant, for ‘love covers a multitude of sins.’” (1Pe 4:7-8, TLV)

COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live. Even after vaccines are released and things begin to return to some sort of normalcy, the world is no longer the same. This pandemic has taught us a big lesson – take nothing for granted.

  1. Through RPGs, Be Self-Controlled and Sober-Minded for Prayer.

We may stay wide-awake in prayer on our own for a short period of time, but it is almost impossible to keep it up all the time. As believers of Yeshua, if we do not connect with the Body of Messiah during such “unprecedented times”, we may easily feel lonely, outcast, afraid or depressed. An RPG which stands for Revival Prayer Group or also known as the Upper Room from Acts 2 can keep us alert and encourage one another to pray vigilantly and constantly.  Are you in any RPGs or are you leading any RPGs?  You can establish RPGs in your homes, workplaces, campuses or local churches to welcome, host, and share the manifest presence of God!

  1. Through Love Languages, Keep Your Love for One Another Constant.

Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up. Most of all, loving each other as if our life depends on it.  Love covers a multitude of sins and love creates miracles. Always practise the Love Languages to keep our love for one another constant – Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, and Prayer – The Trump Card!  Have you worked on the Love Languages to display God’s love to your family members, neighbours, co-workers, or friends daily?  Discover their Love Languages, show your love to them practically, and restore any broken relations.

🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, the COVID-19 pandemic indeed changes the way we live, the way we act, and the way we relate to one another. In 1 Corinthians 13:13, You teach us that faith, hope and love remain, but the greatest of these is love. Please place us in a loving fellowship so that we can support one another with love.  Pour out your love on us through the Holy Spirit, so that we know how to love and how to pray for one another until the day when Yeshua comes again.  In the name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen!
