💎 “And while they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you search for the living among the dead? He is not here, but He is risen! Remember what He told you when He was still in the Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be executed, and on the third day rise up.” (Luk 24:4-7, TLV)
The resurrection of Yeshua is the most powerful event in the history of the world. Today the Buddhists worship the tooth relics of Buddha who died in 543 BC. Many followers of other religions also practice worshipping the spiritual leaders or rabbis at their tombs. As for Christians, we do not have to look for the Living One in a cemetery because He is no longer there. He is risen and He is alive forever!
There are many people being raised from the dead throughout history. However, eventually they all have to face death. The uniqueness of Yeshua’s resurrection is that it is permanent not momentary! Death can never hold Him down.
Praise God that Yeshua has been raised up, so our faith is not futile. We do not have to be afraid or wander about in the dark! Praise God that Yeshua has been raised up, so we have real hope not only in this life alone but also for eternity (1Co 15:17-18)! Praise God that Yeshua has been raised up, so we know that Yeshua is taking full control of this world and He has defeated death victoriously!
Let us worship Him! He Lives/Because He Lives
🙏 Dear Abba Father, thank You for raising Yeshua from the dead and giving us the great hope in Him. We ask You to release the same power of resurrection upon each one of us today. Please take away all sorrows, diseases, shame and guilt in our lives. Please transform our lives radically like how You have done to the disciples of Yeshua after His resurrection. We also pray for the power of Yeshua’s resurrection being revealed through Burning Bush Prayer Network for Your glory. In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen.
