💞 Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

💎 “But He needed to pass through Samaria. So He comes to a Samaritan town called Shechem, near the plot of land that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there. So Yeshua, exhausted from the journey, was sitting by the well. It was midday. A Samaritan woman comes to draw water. ‘Give me a drink,’ Yeshua tells her, for His disciples had gone away to the town to buy food. Then the Samaritan woman tells Him, ‘How is it that You, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?’ (For Jewish people don’t deal with Samaritans.)” (Jhn 4:6-9, TLV)

Firstly, praise God that Burning Bush Prayer Network is turning six today!  We like to take this opportunity to thank God again for His calling, and we envision global missions and transformations being empowered by the H2Z (From Mountains of Heaven to Mount Zion) Prayer Movement.

Genuine transformation starts from our own heart, which inspires us to love God and love people. One practical and feasible way to express love is by exercising the Love Languages – Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts and Acts of Service.  In the last two weeks, we learnt that our Messiah demonstrates His love through Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch.  Today we will observe how Yeshua shows His gentle care to us by the third Love Language – Quality Time.

3.  Quality Time

Yeshua talking with a Samaritan woman at the well and offering her living water is one of the well-known stories in the Bible.  Although this woman is never named in the Gospel of John, her special encounter with Messiah is recorded as the longest conversation among Yeshua and others. Yeshua made a trip to meet her around noon and spent quality time with her alone to reveal His love, acceptance, truth and redemption. Such deep conversation opened her heart, inspired her to tell the testimony and bring almost the entire town to Yeshua!

Yeshua also spends time with children and welcomes them (Luke 18:15-17).  Yeshua spends time with the Canaanite woman and heals her demon-possessed daughter (Mat 15:21-28).  Yeshua spends time with Nicodemus, a Pharisee, and opens his mind for being born of the Spirit (Jhn 3:1-15). Yeshua spends time with his disciples when they are alone to explain everything (Mar 4:34).  When the 11 disciples lose their sense of direction and hope, Yeshua comes to them, spends time on having breakfast with them and restores Peter with His love (Jhn 21:1-19).

Yeshua cares so much to give us not only His time and undivided attention, but He also gives us His life.  How great is His love!

Act Today:  Show your love to at least 3 persons in your family, office or school by giving them your full attention and accompanying them to do whatever they choose, such as have a cuppa, have a short walk, play basketball, enjoy a concert or movie, or candlelight dinner…etc.

🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, we praise You because You are the source of true and unconditional love. Thank You for loving us lavishly and empowering us to love for one another constantly. In the name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen.
