💞 Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!
💎 “So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it until it receives the early and late rain. You also be patient. Strengthen your hearts because the coming of the Lord is near.” (Jas 5:7-8, TLV)
In the beginning of each month, the BBPN Apostolic & Prophetic Team seeks God wholeheartedly for releasing the prophetic words and blessings, which we call it as Voice of Burning Bush. James 5:7-8 is the most often-repeated Bible verse in the Voice of Burning Bush series, as it constantly reminds us of the right attitude as a farmer in the life cycle of sowing and reaping.
- We are sowers.
“The sower sows the word.” (Mar 4:14, TLV) We are all called as the spiritual farmers to sow God’s Word into our own lives and others’ lives. It should not be the privilege and responsibility of the pastors or leaders only. Every day as we practice reading the Word of God and write down Bearing the Cross Journal or known as kingdom journaling, we surely have something to share with others!
- We reap what we sow.
“Do not be deceived—God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also shall reap.” (Gal 6:7, TLV) This is an unchanging spiritual principle that applies to all, no matter who you are, where you are and what you do. If we sow gossip, condemnation, unforgiveness, disunity, or hatred, we will then reap all of them in our own lives. On top of prayer, let us keep practicing the Five Love Language in any relations, including words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch.
🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, we admit that there are times when we do not see any good return in what we do and hence feel disappointed or are prompted to give up. Please release new hope into our lives and renew our minds, so we may keep sowing for Your kingdom’s sake faithfully and patiently, and expect to reap a significant harvest in Your beautiful timing. In the name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen.
