💞 Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

💎 “Then John’s disciples came to Him, saying, ‘Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?’ And Yeshua said to them, ‘The guests of the bridegroom cannot mourn while the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.’” (Mat 9:14-15)

Praise God with His grace and power, we are about to finish the prayer and fasting on October 31. As we dedicate our time to seek Him, we have encountered many miracles both individually and corporately, including financial breakthroughs, restoration of family relations, physical healings, and directions of lives!  Let us press on until the last day, and keep interceding for revivals and transformation in our lives, our families and our nations!

According to Matthew 9:14-15, Yeshua reminds us of prayer and fasting when the bridegroom is taken away from us. We are now in the End Times, between Yeshua’s first and second comings, and Satan attacks the people of God fiercely as he knows very well that it is his last chance. We ought to pray and fast when waiting for Yeshua, our bridegroom, to come again. Prayer and fasting will keep us alert in the spirit and shield us from spiritual attacks in the End Times.

  1. Prayer and Fasting Readies Our Heart and Minds

Prayer and fasting is afflicting our souls and denying ourselves. (Lev 16:29, 31) When we fast, our hearts are surrendered to God and our minds become sharper. A keen awareness of God’s presence and clarity of things will allow God’s Word to move powerfully in our hearts. Prayer and fasting hence readies our hearts and minds by the leading of the Holy Spirit, and activates the revival and transformations in our lives!

  1. Prayer and Fasting Increases Our Faith

Satan never wants us to grow in our faith, and he will do anything he can to make us feel hungry and grumpy. However, often when we are too hungry to pray, we then realise how weak we are, and how much we need Yeshua!  (Eph 2:8-10) Through prayer and fasting, our faith is increased because we know very well that it’s impossible for us to make it without God’s help and empowerment.

🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for teaching us to pray and fast before the second coming of Your beloved Son Yeshua! Please make our hearts and minds ready to hear from You. Increase our faith as we present the deep desires to You and put our trust in You, so we can stand firm in Your promises until the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes! In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless you, Amen.
