๐Ÿž Manna for Meditation 87

30 June, 2020

๐Ÿ’ž Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

๐Ÿ’Ž โ€œBut this I have against you, that you have forsaken your first love.โ€ (Rev 2:4)

๐Ÿ’Ž โ€œHow can I repay Adonai for all His bounties to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call on the Name of Adonai. I will fulfil my vows to Adonai in the presence of all His people.โ€ (Psm 116:12-14)

Today is our last day of Prayer and Fasting Month. We have been focusing on asking God to reveal and demolish our strongholds, and to show us our target groups for services. Praise God that we have received many wonderful reports and breakthroughs among us, such as true repentance of sins, big leap of faith, divine opportunities to be ministered for deliverances, children returning to God and being hungry for the Word of God, assurance in directorsโ€ฆetc. June is a special month to encounter God and enhance our relations with Him. Hallelujah!

During the Prayer and Fasting Month, we also spent time together reading Partners in Prayer by John Maxwell and Compelled by Love by Heidi Baker with Shara Pradhan. According to the two books, first love is the key to unlock the joy and power from heaven as we proceed to the second half of 2020.

In Partners of Prayer, John Maxwell shared his story about being crushed when performing a funeral for an unbeliever named Bob. Before Bob passed away, John visited him many times in the hospital and he talked about their favourite basketball team all the time. BUT never once did John talk to Bob about salvation! John was devastated when realising that Bob had gone to hell because unfortunately he knew a pastor who never shared the gospel with him!

How about us? Is there anyone surrounding us that has never heard the gospel message directly from us? We can be excelled in prayers and receive many prophetic visions or dreams, but we shall never forget that we are also called to be personal soul-winners! Let us pick up our first love, be equipped and go forth in the mission of God!

๐Ÿ™Dear Heavenly Father, we admit that being prayer warriors, sometimes we get too comfortable in prayers and enjoy all the wonderful encounters with You too much. Yet we may forsake our first love to lift up the cup of salvation, call on Your name and share the gospel. Please empower us by Your Spirit, give us the sensitivity and urgency to share the Good News boldly. Make us not only prayer warriors, but also fishers of men! In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen.
