🙌 2025 Month of Praise

From RH, Taoyuan County, Taiwan – TW017 Prayer Altar

During the Month of Praise in September, I practiced worshiping God through praise, and it awakened a part of my spirit that had long been dormant. Through movements of the body, waving banners, blowing the shofar, and lifting my voice in praise, I tangibly experienced God’s presence and delight. I also encountered the release of the Holy Spirit—my joy increased day by day, and I resumed writing daily devotional notes.

I thank the Lord for giving me a spirit of hunger and thirst for Him, which reignited my passion for sharing the gospel. The more I share, the more joyful I become. Truly, having the Lord is having everything!

This September’s Month of Praise was unlike any previous year. Our theme, Praise in Motion, invited us into a daily rhythm of movement, dance expression, and scripture meditation. Each day carried its own unique motion—sometimes bowing low or kneeling before the Lord in repentance and surrender to His holiness. Other times, we danced like children before our King, hearts full of joy. It was light hearted, even fun—and we sensed God’s delight as we came to Him with childlike faith.

One day, we practiced the motion of healing touch. I asked the Lord if He would heal my left eye and relieve the pain in my knee. I gently placed my hands on those areas. Though I didn’t experience instant healing like the leper or the blind man in scripture, I felt the strong presence of the Holy Spirit. By faith, I believe God is at work. His will is for me to be well. He has reminded me time and again that He loves me deeply and cares for me tenderly. He longs to fill my heart with joy—a joy that only comes from Him.

All I need is to fix my eyes on Him, not on my problems. To trust Him with all my heart and surrender in wholehearted worship.

Over these 30 days, I’ve gradually learned to move my body more freely and naturally in worship. I thank God for Pastor Jamie’s creativity this year, which allowed us to worship with body, heart, and spirit—and experience a deeper connection with God.

All glory be to God!

I praise God for the grace to participate in the Month of Praise for another year.

This year’s theme—Praising God through Movement—was especially meaningful. When Pastor Jamie asked for my thoughts on choosing between movement or using our five senses to praise God, my first instinct was movement. It felt more natural and easier to practice.

We thank God for giving Pastor Jamie such wisdom and creativity in designing a wide variety of movements that beautifully align with scripture. She even encouraged us to dance with flags or use scarves as symbolic banners. I was deeply moved by how freely and joyfully we could worship God through so many expressions of movement

I felt honoured to help post the daily Month of Praise content, and to experience each movement firsthand. Sometimes, as I meditated on the day’s verse, a song would stir my spirit—and I would begin to dance. It reminded me that worship isn’t limited to music or words alone. We can praise God with our whole being—through movement, gesture, and embodied joy.

I cannot thank Pastor Jamie enough for the time, prayer, and effort she poured into crafting each day’s theme, selecting the right scriptures, and creating 30 days of meaningful movement. I bless her with the promise from Ruth 2:12:
“May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

Praise the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. To Him be all the glory!

🔥 Dancing in the Flames: A Chapter of Spiritual Freedom and Revival

On the tenth day of this year’s Month of Praise, Pastor Jamie and I gathered online to review the first ten days, then entered into thirty minutes of uninterrupted praise through dance.

I began with the movements and declarations from Days 1 to 3, and the Holy Spirit personally led me to spin and leap. I surrendered completely, letting the Spirit uphold my body. I felt an unprecedented release and freedom—like King David dancing with all his might before the Lord as he welcomed the Ark of the Covenant. Then I bowed low in worship, once again experiencing spiritual liberty and unshackled release.

As we entered the “Fire Blessing” phase, I declared over the youth: May the Holy Spirit baptise them with fire, igniting revival in this rising generation!

Even after the worship ended, I remained deeply filled with the Spirit—my body burning, my soul trembling! It had been a long time since I encountered such a tangible, intense presence of God in praise and worship. I thank the Lord for His grace!

JH: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” — Psalm 100:4 (NIV)

This year during Month of Praise, Pastor Jamie especially encouraged us to praise God through bodily movement. The experience of praising with our whole body is completely different from only praising with words. I deeply felt that every time I danced in praise to Him, it was as if He danced with me, helping me relax and be filled with His presence.

When I danced in praise together with my husband, I saw us laughing like children, taking turns leading each other in dance. During the process, I also discovered that some movements carried symbolic revelation. Many times, in the dance I truly experienced “entering His courts with praise and praising His name,” which filled my heart with a special joy throughout the day!

RW: This year’s Month of Praise theme is “Praising God through Dance,” with different creative movements each day. For someone like me who rarely dances, it was indeed difficult at first, even with some resistance. But as the music began, I was surprised to find my body naturally moving with the melody, and in it I felt joy.

“Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.” — Psalm 149:3 (NIV) In each moment of dance, my focus gradually shifted from myself to God, seeing His presence and praising Him. This experience filled me with joy every day, and my heart continually gives thanks to the Lord!
