🍞 Manna for Meditation 182

26 April, 2022

💎 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (Jhn 3:16, TLV)

Praise God that we are going to finish the 30 Days Prayer for the Muslim World on 1 May. In the last few weeks, our eyes are open to pray for many people groups which we never even heard of or known about before. In God’s eyes, every Muslim is unique and wonderfully made.  He never forsakes or forgets each one of them. Let us keep praying for Muslims beyond the Ramadan until God’s heart is satisfied (2Pe 3:9).

  1. Pray for God’s Love

“And hope does not disappoint, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) who was given to us.” (Rom 5:5, TLV)

People tend to have their own fears or prejudices against people from different backgrounds. Therefore, some Christians mistakenly do not pray for Muslims at all. Without the love of God, we will see things with distorted or selfish views. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to pour God’s love into our hearts, so we all have a heart filled with love and compassion towards Muslims. In addition, Muslims believe that Allah is unknowable. He holds himself apart from mankind, so it is impossible to have a relationship with him. Let us pray that Muslims will be touched by God’s love and have a full revelation of the true God, a loving Abba Father.

  1. Pray against Fears

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and the one who fears has not been made perfect in love.” (1Jn 4:18, TLV)

Fear controls many aspects of a Muslim’s everyday life. To millions of Muslims, they are afraid of their family members, terrorism, violence, conflicts, authorities, secret police, the government, and even God. They are also afraid of the future, poverty, suffering, arranged marriages, gossiping and rumors. Some of them are afraid of asking questions about their religion and the consequences of doing so. Let us pray that God answers their heart cry and meets their need to release them from living in constant fear!

  1. Pray for Salvation and Sonship

“So you are no longer a slave but a son—and if a son, also an heir through God. But at that time, when you did not know God, you served those who by nature are not gods at all.” (Gal 4:7, TLV)

The word Islam literatlly means submission in Arabric, and Muslims understand that they are servants of Allah. Islam also teaches Muslims that in order to make it to paradise, they must do enough good deeds to outweigh the bad deeds. Even so, there is never a guarantee for their salvation. Let us pray that Muslims will be convicted of sin, understand true repentance and the forgiveness of sin, receive the assurance of their salvation through Yeshua, and embrace their true identity as sons and daughters of God.

🙏 Dear Father, we are committed to praying for Muslims even beyond Ramadan. Please teach us how to pray in depth and share your heart concerning the Muslim World. We anticipate a greater revival among the Muslims through our intercession in unity, with love and with authority. In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen.
