🍞 Manna for Meditation 175

8 March, 2022

💎 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mat 26:41, TLV)

💎 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (Eph 6:18)

💎 “Now the end of all things is near. So be self-controlled and sober-minded for prayer.” (1Pe 4:7, TLV)

After launching the Month of Prayer and Fasting in March, we have received many urgent prayer requests from all over the world. Some Praying Priests, Indigenous Ministry Partners, Evangelism Partners and Association Members have reported being sick or having accidents. Please bear in mind that whenever the spiritual warfare becomes fiercer, the greater revival is coming on the way.

Satan always fires attacks on our prayer life. He either takes away our prayers, weakens our prayer life, or makes us think that our prayers are not effective at all. Whenever we let loose our prayer authority, we are in trouble and we will never win the spiritual battles. Therefore, our Messiah Yeshua, Apostle Paul and Apostle Peter all remind us to be alert and keep on praying! (Mat 26:41, Mar 14:38, Luk 22:40, Eph 6:18, 1Pe 4:7)

Prayer not only keeps the spiritual attacks away from us, most importantly, prayer is the will of God. Prayer is not one kind of spiritual gift.  No one can say that I am exempt from prayer because of lacking such a gift. Prayer is not a tool. Prayer is coming near to God, seeing Him face to face, and being intimate with Him. When we pray and get closer to God, we learn to love Him more and love one another more.

Dear Praying Priests, prayer is essential in the ongoing warfare. Let us pray for one another, keep our eyes open, and keep each other’s spirit up, so that no one falls behind or drops out. May we all encounter God in His manifest presence during prayer and fasting, and may we all share His love and light to others. Let us watch and pray!

🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, we understand that time is short, the urgency is great, and the world is in crisis. Today, we together renew our commitment to be alert and always keep on praying. We will take up our spiritual authority which is given by You through the priceless sacrifice of your beloved Son. Please help us to pray in the Spirit on all occasions, until the battles are won! In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen!
