💎 “Arise, shine, for your light has come! The glory of Adonai has risen on you. For behold, darkness covers the earth, and deep darkness the peoples. But Adonai will arise upon you, and His glory will appear over you. Nations will come to your light, kings to the brilliance of your rising.” (Isa 60:1-3)
2021 was an incredibly difficult year to many nations and peoples, and yet resilience was found everywhere. At the very beginning of 2021, we foresaw the ongoing challenges and spiritual battles, so by faith we proclaimed that it would be a Year of Victory. The faithfulness and grace of God had carried us all through, and we had prevailed over depression, anxiety, fear and hardship in 2021. The light has come after the thick and desperate darkness. As the people of God, we must receive His light, Arise and Shine in 2022!
- Your light has come. (v1)
There is a glorious rescue from our Redeemer after all the long-suffering days. (Isa 59:20-21) Yeshua, our light has come, and a bright new day dawns on the earth. Yes! Yeshua came, He died, and He rose again. He has overcome the darkness and won the victory in Calvary. He is the reason for us to Arise and Shine!
- The glory of Adonai has risen on you. (v1)
God is our Father and the fountain of light, so it is in His light we can see light. When Yeshua arose as the sun of righteousness, the glory of God visited us and was seen upon us. We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world, and we must Arise and Shine!
- People are in deep darkness. (v2)
Darkness covers the earth – morally, emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually, politically…etc. People are suffering with despair, disappointments, depression, disturbances and dejections. However, the darker the situation becomes, the easier it is for us to see the light! There is no reason for us not to Arise and Shine!
- Nations will come to your light. (v3)
The true light attracts! People want to see something that is real, and the whole world is in a desperate stage to find the hope and solution of life. The purity and love of the followers of Yeshua are powerfully attractive, because we have the answer and the key! The nations and kings will come to the brilliance of our rising, and we must not delay to Arise and Shine!
🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for walking us through all the difficult and challenging times in 2021. When the darkness closes in, we are duty-bound to shine Your light and attract the world to come to Your light. Please forgive us for often making excuses and not responding to Your call sooner. Please empower us to Arise and Shine and display Your glory in 2022 and the years to come! In the Name of Yeshua we pray and bless You, Amen!
