💞 Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!
💎 “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.” (Eph 6:13-20, TLV)
There are five principles for the churches that thrive in the crisis, and last week we reviewed the first principle – Churches that thrive in the crisis see the reality of unseen. This week we will look into the second principle.
2. Churches that thrive in the crisis have the battling mindset and use the spiritual weapons.
This world is a battlefield. The battle always exists no matter whether we are aware of it or not. When we thrive, we see the battles. If we are not battle-ready, we will get defeated easily. If we are battle-ready, by God’s grace, favour and power, we are protected and we are more than conquerors. The forces of darkness will never wait for us to get ready for their attacks! In fact, the devil prefers that we are not prepared, so he can come to steal, kill and destroy.
No any warriors will go into any battles without preparations and protections. Our God calls us into spiritual warfare, and He also equipped us with spiritual weapons! Each time when we put on the full armour of God, we are clothing ourselves with Messiah.
- I put on The Belt of Truth. Yeshua is my Truth!
- I put on The Breastplate of Righteousness. Yeshua is my Righteousness!
- I put on The Shoes of the Gospel of Shalom. Yeshua is my Good News!
- I take up The Shield of Faith. Yeshua is the Faithful One!
- I put on The Helmet of Salvation. Yeshua is my Saviour!
- I take up The Sword of the Spirit. Yeshua is the Word of God!
I take all the prayers. Yeshua is my indwelling intercessor. I stand complete in the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach, and the enemies cannot touch me!
🙏 Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You and praise You because You hold the victory over all sins and all the forces of darkness. Thank you for not leaving us alone or naked to fight the battles ourselves. We choose to clothe with Messiah every day so that we can stand complete in the Lord! We thrive, we see battles, and we win the victory through the power of Yeshua. In the name of Yeshua we pray and bless you, Amen.
