🍞 Manna for Meditation 107

17 November, 2020

πŸ’ž Dear Royal Praying Priests, shalom!

πŸ’Ž β€œLet the word of Messiah dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another with all wisdom in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Col 3:16-17, TLV)

November is a month of thanksgiving.  Although it is not easy to find and focus on God’s goodness amongst all sorts of crises around the world now, it is His command for us to rejoice, sing, pray and give thanks whatever we do in word or deed!

Let us be a generation to usher in the God of all grace for releasing His grace around us, especially for such a time as this. Take a short break from our daily routines, sit down and take out our Bearing the Cross Journal, and pen down who, what, where, when, why and how we should express gratitude purposefully to those who love and care deeply for us in 2020!  Are they your parents, siblings, friends, relatives, neighbours, co-workers or colleagues, bosses or spiritual mentors, doctors or nurses, or anyone who shows kindness to you?  Are they all believers or non-believers?  In November, write a thank you note or give them a ring to tell them how much you appreciate who they are and what they do!  If you can, express your gratitude to at least one person each day!

This is also a process of counting our blessings!  The more blessings we count, the more blessings we have!  Let us sing this uplifting song together for reminding us of how many good people and good things God has in store in our lives!  Hallelujah!

Worship Song:  Count Your Blessings

πŸ™ Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for your everlasting love, gentle care and inspiring guidance.  Thank You for each and every person who You send to us, so we may grow together in every season of our lives.  As we learn to count the blessings, we acknowledge that You are the source of all eternal blessings.  In the name of Yeshua we pray and bless you, Amen.
