🏠 Pastor Jamie Tseng | BBPN Beit Simcha | November 28, 2025
On Thanksgiving morning, I received messages from R and O—a couple who had been traveling around Taiwan for a month and a half. Only near the end of their journey did they hear about the “Beit Simcha,” and they hoped to meet us before leaving the country on Saturday. It happened to coincide with my monthly three-day fast, so the only thing I could offer was a simple lunch box at my home. They gladly accepted—and I knew this was no coincidence, but a divine lunchtime encounter orchestrated by God.
The day before our meeting, the Burning Bush Prayer Network intercessory team began praying for them by name, receiving clear and vivid visions. We translated and compiled these impressions into what we call the “Voice of Burning Bush,” preparing to bless them when they arrived.
This morning, I picked them up at the MRT station. We walked, bought lunch, and shared testimonies of how God transforms cities through answered prayer—including how He prepared the shop of a champion barista to become a place for hospitality and storytelling. They listened with delight, smiling as if we were long-lost friends reunited.
At home, I explained, “This meal is not from me; it is an offering of love from the Burning Bush Prayer Network. We want to say to you: “Thank you, Jewish people, for preserving the Scriptures, and thank you for bringing the Messiah to the world.” O was deeply moved and immediately asked for an English version of our ministry introduction.
During lunch, I invited them to taste “Ning’s Brew Kombucha,” offered them the “Ning’s Aroma Roll-Ons,” and sang two original Hebrew worship songs. R was amazed that I could pronounce Hebrew so naturally—he turned out to be a musician who plays multiple instruments. And O had once been a Hora dancer, the iconic dance of Israel’s early pioneers, though she can no longer dance due to an injury. Meeting them one day before their departure felt like God’s perfect choreography.
At one moment, my father’s eyes welled with tears as he said, “Welcome to Beit HaMashiach (House of Messiah). All six members of our family believe in Yeshua, and our lives are full of His goodness. Kids, this is true—you must believe in Yeshua!” His words were sincere and powerful. I then shared the story of the woman with the issue of blood and placed two prayer-tassel keychains into their hands, encouraging them to reach out to Yeshua anytime.
Finally, I read aloud the Voice of Burning Bush. They widened their eyes, stunned: “Wow… it’s scary!” The visions were so precise that they found them unbelievable. The Holy Spirit was touching the deepest places of their hearts. I felt in that moment how tender God’s heart was toward them—two artists of music and dance—receiving words crafted uniquely for their souls.
Within the short time we had, we poured as much of Yeshua’ love into them as we could.
They thanked us repeatedly, saying they loved Taiwan and would return with their families. They were already looking forward to our next meeting.
I smiled and said, “Next time, let us know earlier—we want more time to love you and walk with you.”
When it was time to part, I quoted John 7:37–38: “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink… Whoever believes in me… rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
I told them, “Though today is the last day of your trip, it is the most important day God prepared for you. As one of the visions from the Voice of Burning Bush said—if you believe in Yeshua, rivers of living water will flow from within you.”
And in that moment, I knew—
God had written His heart into their journey.
This wasn’t just a shared lunch. It was a divine appointment.
