🙌2024 Month of Praise Writers’ Testimonies

From EL, Hsinchu County, Taiwan – TW003 Prayer Altar

“My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skilful writer.” (Psalm 45:1)

This year, as a member of the Month of Praise Writing Team, I have experienced what Psalm 45:1 describes. Whether selecting songs or writing praise contents, the Holy Spirit has flowed through my heart, enabling me to complete posts quicky. This is a significant breakthrough for me because writing usually takes me a lot of time.

The presence of the Holy Spirit filled the entire writing process with joy and sweetness. My understanding of God deepened, and my faith increased! I truly want to say, “Our God is a good God; He does wonderful things for us.” I only do a little for Him, yet He delights in me and richly rewards me. Therefore, I hope more brothers and sisters will join the Month of Praise Writing Team next year and experience the grace that I have enjoyed!

Praise God! This is my first time spending a whole month in continuous praise, communing with the Lord. I also invited sisters from my church group to experience the power of praise! Waiting a praise post each week has deepened my understanding of God’s attributes and helped me focus on His greatness than the turmoil of circumstances.

Initially, I felt a bit uncertain about writing praise posts, not sure if the chosen scriptures and songs would be appropriate. But thanks to Pastor Jamie’s guidance, I gradually built confidence and found writing becoming smoother. This Month of Praise and focus has brought me immense joy, making my spirit more sensitive and my dreams clearer, often receiving encouragement and enlightenment from the Holy Spirit.

Once, when I struggled with feelings of offense, the Holy Spirit used a dream to remove my self-righteousness and taught me empathy while accompanying a sister. I am grateful for the Holy Spirit’s correction, enabling me to serve the sister with more joy. Thank you, Lord, for the grace that allows my praise and prayers to become a blessing to others! Hallelujah!

This year marks my first time participating in the Month of Praise Writing Team! Throughout this month, I’ve learned so much, especially how to seek weekly scriptures, songs and write praise posts under God’s guidance. Initially, I was worried because I wasn’t familiar with God’s word and feared I wouldn’t receive scriptures, find songs, or be able to write praise posts weekly. I was just scaring myself! But thanks to the Lord’s mercy and faithfulness, none of these worries came to pass. For example, sometimes when I wouldn’t choose a song, God would unexpectedly provide the perfect one.

This journey has expanded my faith in God and taught me how to let go and trust Him more. It also reminded me of the importance of deeply rooting myself in the study of God’s word. I look forward to next year’s Month of Praise, hoping I can write even more smoothly. (I’m pushing myself to sing up early because life needs to come true…haha.) I am very grateful to the Lord fo allowing me to joyfully participate in this ministry!

This year is my first time participating in the Month of Praise Writing Team. Looking back, I truly don’t know where I found the courage to sign up with Pastor Jamie. Every week, I had to prepare content for the following week in advance, asking myself what I wanted to praise God for (the theme), scriptures, praise content, and songs. It felt like as soon as I finished writing, it was time to start the next piece.

However, through this practice, I spent time quietly connecting with Him, reflecting on and praising God. Each time I communed with God, I felt immense joy. Following the praise posts each day helped me focus solely on praising Him, rather than asking for something. The feeling of praising God is very different from making requests in prayer.

Every time I wrote, I did so with a heart full of blessings, hoping that the brothers and sisters who joined in the praise would also be filled with joy and strength to face each day. I am very grateful for Pastor Jamie’s creativity and invitation, allowing us to experience the joy of solely praising God together!

When my wife CH asked me if I wanted to join the Month of Praise Writing Team, I had no idea what the Month of Praise was XD. However, once I began participating in the writing, following the different weekly themes, I discovered through prayer and worship that I became closer to God. Through praise, I handed over many anxieties and worries to Him and saw many of His graces in my life.

Reading the content received by different brothers and sisters also made me realise how abundant God is; His works far exceed what I could ask for or imagine. The Month of Praise allowed me to see God’s abundant and generous nature anew, through praise, to learn once again to look up to God and revere Him.

I am very thankful for Pastor Jamie’s invitation and trust!

Praise the Lord! This is my second time joining the Month of Praise Writing Tema, and this time, several brothers and sisters participated together. Reflecting on it, seeing daily posts in the group that praised God was truly wonderful. I am sure god was delighted! It brought me great joy as well.

While writing praise posts this time, I carefully researched the related scriptures, which deepened my understanding of the Bible. I also took this opportunity to share with my small group sisters, encouraging and building each other up.

Additionally, I am deeply grateful to Pastor Jamie. Despite undergoing chemotherapy, she still helped us polish our praise posts, making our presentations even better.

I hope that next year, when I participated for the third time, I can write even more powerfully, because God deserves all the praise.

Praise God! This is my second year participating in the Month of Praise Writing Team. Compared to the first time, which felt a bit awkward, this year I felt an endless flow of inspiration while working with God. Seeing everyone’s posts feel like deep calling unto deep, and the Holy Spirit flowed within me, making song election quick and easy.

I am grateful for this opportunity to practise and grow. I also want to thank Pastor Jamie. Despite her health challenges, she never gave up editing our sentences and reminding us to upload our posts. She is truly a good servant of God and a role model for me.

This year is a very challenging year for the Month of Praise English Writing Team. Initially with no volunteers to write the post. Towards the end of August, BBPN Melbourne RPG (Revival Prayer Group) decided to participate, each person had to write ten posts!

For the first three weeks, the praise points are focused on Praise the Father, Praise the Son, and Praise the Holy Spirit that we have done in previous years. We have the previous posts for reference. Due to my busy workloads, some of the posts I used the previous year posts and added another simple praise point. Though I just copied the previous year post, it brightened up my view on praising God.

The praise point for the fourth week is focused on Praise the House of God, this is a totally new topic. The English team found it very challenging to write the praise posts. I volunteered to look up the bible verses related to the House of God and sent them to Pastor Jamie for review. After Pastor Jamie’s comments and highlights, I have a better understanding of Praise the House of God, that we can praise the church or the people of God for their love, services, encouragement, etc. I managed to find some Bible verses and songs for the team. With the guidance from Pastor Jamie on the theme for the House of God, inspired me how to write the post. Indeed, we need to give thanks to the House of God or the church, the people of God, appreciate their timeless services, support and encouragement.

With the help of the Holy Spirit who inspired us, the English Team finally completed writing all the post for this year Month of Praise. Thank you, Pastor Jamie, for doing all the editing. Thanking God for giving me this opportunity to serve Him in BBPN. To God be all the glory. Amen.

From TL, Melbourne, Australia – AU003 Prayer Altar

I am grateful to God for the opportunity to serve Him as one of the writers for the Month of Praise. During these four weeks of September, we praise the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the House of God.

When writing the praise posts, we are asked to choose a Bible verse and a worship song to accompany it. At times, it can be difficult to find the right worship song to complement the verse. Some days are stressful and challenging, but I thank God for teaching me patience and perseverance. I recall a time when I felt like giving up, but I’m thankful for Pastor Jamie’s guidance and encouragement throughout the writing process.

Through this experience, I’ve learned to praise God in various contexts. There are moments when the Holy Spirit helps me connect Bible verses with worship songs, deepening my worship. The lyrics of these songs often speak powerfully to our hearts and refresh our souls.

I am grateful that I’ve been able to write praise posts that others can use to join in worship. The more we praise Him, the stronger our faith becomes as we proclaim His attributes. I will give thanks to the Lord for His righteousness and sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High all the days of my life.

In conclusion, writing a praise post is much harder than simply reading one, but it is absolutely worth it. All glory be to God!
